The Rubystone Project was born on a long drive home from Foxtoberfest 2024—twelve hours filled with excitement, reflection, and one burning question: How can we help others turn their passion into possibility?

That weekend, a young girl and her father won Best Work in Progress category, and their story struck something deep within us. We saw firsthand how cars connect generations, how they ignite dreams, and how they can change lives.
Melissa fell in love with the Foxbody world in 2023, and with Jason’s help, her dream car—Rubystone—came to life. But this was never just about one car. It was about opening doors, fueling passion, and helping others chase something bigger than themselves.

At the heart of it all is love—love for each other, love for this community, and love for the joy of bringing people together. Jason and Melissa share not only a passion for cars but also a passion for making a difference. Whether they’re brainstorming new ways to give back, laughing endlessly or just having fun, they believe in lifting others up and making every moment count.

And let’s be honest—Jason also knew he’d be homeless if he didn’t start working on Melissa’s car.
